Let’s Start From the Beginning
My Story
"For a long time, I chased all the usual markers of success — the degrees, the job titles, the status, the money. And yeah, I caught 'em all. I looked successful on paper, but inside I felt hollow, exhausted, unseen and wondering if I unwittingly bartered my soul for a seat at the conference table."
I attended a top law school and achieved an Ivy League degree.
As a daughter of Haitian immigrants — achievement wasn't celebrated, it was assumed.
I was the first Black woman elected to full-equity partner at a Big Law firm, 7 years out of law school.
The reckoning: "Everyone celebrated me. But I felt nothing."
"You ever get that weird feeling where you're crushing it at life, but your inner voice is side-eyeing you like, "Cool cool cool, but who are you?"'
I chose to heal, which led me on a journey to find out who I was born to be.
